UAL Art and Design Year Two

This work exhibited by the 2nd year UAL Art & Design students is a culmination of work created throughout this academic year and lockdown. The work created is very versatile and includes a range of skills and subject areas.

Within the 1st year of UAL Art & Design students are introduced to the skills and creativity needed to lay the foundations for their journey as artists, designers, makers, or creative professionals via workshops in multiple areas within Art & Design.

Within their 2nd year students are able to utilise and develop those skills and specialise in areas of significant interest. With a mixture of photography, ceramics, print, fashion, textiles, illustration, digital art and fine art these students have created outstanding works of mixed media and developed their own personal style.

This wide-ranging and exciting educational experience has provided the students with the skills and confidence needed to progress onto into Higher Education or into employment and beyond.
